Hello, I'm new to Banshee and am seeing a crash. I tried to find the solution to my problem on the IRC channel but eventually they told me to post here. Platform: Ubuntu 5.10 (all updates installed) Banshee Version: 0.10.2.42414 Email if you need version info from any other component ... Behavior: When I drag one of my songs to a play list on the left hand column the application crashes. I see it trying to pop-up a new auto-create play list in addition to the play list I'm trying to drag to. Additional notes: I only have one song in the library. I initially had this behavior when interacting with my iPod. This behavior still occurs without the iPod mounted. Steps to recreate: 1. Grab song from main library by holding the left mouse button. 2. Try to drop song into a play list on the left hand listing. 3. Application crashes. This is the listing from the terminal: /////////////////// Begin Listing ////////////////////// jeichas carl:/usr/share/gdesklets$ banshee ** (/usr/lib/banshee/banshee.exe:16396): WARNING **: Symbol file /usr/lib/mono/gac/dbus-sharp/0.36.2.0__9eef2692033670f5/dbus-sharp.dll.mdb has incorrect version (expected 39, got 38) Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:09 PM] (Changed active playback engine) - GStreamer Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:09 PM] (Loaded primary playback engine) - GStreamer Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:09 PM] (Loaded Audio CD playback engine) - GStreamer Warning: [1/21/2006 7:34:09 PM] (Cannot connect to NetworkManager) - An available, working network connection will be assumed Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:09 PM] (Audio CD Core Initialized) - Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:10 PM] (Registered IO Transaction) - Banshee.SqlLoadTransaction Debug: [1/21/2006 7:34:10 PM] (Executing IO Transaction) - Banshee.SqlLoadTransaction Debug: [1/21/2006 7:41:28 PM] (Registered IO Transaction) - Banshee.PlaylistLoadTransaction Debug: [1/21/2006 7:41:28 PM] (Executing IO Transaction) - Banshee.PlaylistLoadTransaction Debug: [1/21/2006 7:41:28 PM] (Registered IO Transaction) - Banshee.PlaylistSaveTransaction Debug: [1/21/2006 7:41:28 PM] (Executing IO Transaction) - Banshee.PlaylistSaveTransaction ** ERROR **: Type NotificationAreaIcon/XEvent which has an [ExplicitLayout] attribute cannot have two fields with the same offset. aborting... /////////////////// End Listing ////////////////////// Thanks, -Jude
